Stonewall Sports Charlotte is excited to announce the addition of Dale Pierce to our leadership team.
Dale comes to Stonewall with not just history as a player, but extensive experience in volunteer organization structure and especially event skills.
He recently completed his MBA and works as the 340 B Pharmacy Program Director at Rosedale Medical in Huntersville, NC. He resides in Huntersville with his husband of 12 years Ed Harrell. Prior to taking this role in 2017 he had worked as CEO for Different Roads Home, an HIV and chronic illness charity which specialized in raising funds through the arts. Before his tenure at DRH, Dale also highlighted his skill set in party planning and producing events for local organizations like MSP, RAIN, and even the Unitarian Universalist Church of Charlotte.
His track record with fundraising and pulling off the impossible in events is something we look forward to having on our Stonewall team.
Dale has produced and directed several plays, including last year’s successful run of Sordid Lives in Charlotte. He has also worked with celebrity fundraising activities; planning and implementing events with the likes of Tammy Faye Bakker, Olympic Gold Medalist Greg Louganis, Activist Jeanne White Ginder, television stars like Linda Gray of Dallas and Teresa Guidice of Bravo TV Real Housewives series, country’s first out male recording artist Ty Herndon, legends like Louise Mandrell, and countless Southern gospel greats as well.
Pierce said, “I look forward to working with the team at Stonewall and our community to create successful and inclusive events that will grow the Charlotte Stonewall brand.”
Please join us in welcoming Dale to the team!
